Enjoy each day on The Perlemoen Trail with our expert guides exploring this extraordinary seashore. Gain special insights into marine ecology, fynbos medicinal plants and flowers, and an in-depth understanding of Khoisan history and the many shipwrecks along these waters.
The trail is rated for medium fitness hikers with no steep mountain climbs, comfortable daily distances, no heavy packs to carry, and relaxing private guest house accommodation at Lucky Fish each night.
With over 30 years of experience in adventure guiding, Jason Stonehewer hosts The Perlemoen Trail. Jason is passionate about nature guiding and studying our amazing inter-coastal marine environment.
In August 2014, Jason received the Mayorβs Award for his outstanding contribution to environmental awareness and community education. All our guides are FGASA certified specialists in marine ecology, Strandveld flora, shipwrecks, and Khoisan history.
