Booking, Payments, and Cancellations
Deposits & Payments: A 50% deposit is required to secure your booking and preferred trail dates. The balance is due prior to arrival.
Group Pricing: Our rates work on a sliding scale based on the number of hikers in your group. Bookings for 2 or 4 people joining an existing trail are treated as independent bookings.
Cancellations: In the event of client cancellation, standard cancellation fees apply depending on notice given. If Beachcomber Guide is forced to cancel due to severe weather, alternative dates will be offered.
Health, Safety & Liability
Fitness: The trail requires a moderate fitness level. Hikers are responsible for ensuring physical capability for up to 15 km of daily coastal hiking.
Indemnity: While our FGASA-qualified guides prioritize your safety, hiking in a coastal wilderness environment carries inherent natural risks. Participants sign a standard liability waiver prior to starting the trail.
